The Museo ng Makati was created through Municipal Ordinance No. 1896. Primarily a community museum, it is a reservoir of artifacts, treasures, and relics of the town's glorious past. A special feature will be the "living" exhibits of the different regions of the country showcasing attributes uniquely their own. Visitors can enjoy cultural presentations and art and crafts demonstrations during special events. The Museo ng Makati is the only museum in Metro-Manila that showcases the City's history in reliefs especially carved for the Museo.
